Dr. Kırdar Güney was born in 1983 in Ankara, Turkey. He led his studies at Ankara University School of Medicine. Having graduated in 2007 as the fifth-ranking undergraduate of his department, he went on to become a Medical doctor. He studied Plastic Surgery in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery of the Faculty of Medicine of Gazi University from 2007 to 2014, and consequently graduated with the title of Specialist. After his Residency, Dr Güney performed his compulsory service in Konya Training and Research Hospital for two years. During these years, he passed the exams and went on to be granted the certificates of competence by the Turkish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and joined the European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. He contributed to local and international publications and attended many local and international scientific conventions. Dr. Güney took office as a Specialist at René Clinic, Istanbul, Turkey in February 2016. He is the only Turkish member of the international group named Expert2Expert, and member of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
